BIG METROPOLITAN SPRING SHOW.

The 42nd Grand Metropolitan SpringShow of the Mannwatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association will this year he held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, November 1,2, and 3 next. The large and commodious showgrounds at Palmerston North have the most up-to-date conveniences and accommodation for the exhibiting of live stock in the Dominion, and breeders now recognise the benefits to be derived by exhibiting their blood stock at this, the premier exhibition of the Dominion. The •schedule has this year been thoroughly revised by a very keen and enthusiastic (-(-in in it t<»o with the result that the booklet provides a most attractive list of generous cash prizes, handsome cups and valuable, trophies for competition in the various sections. - Classes arc provided for all breeds of purebred; stock harness horses, draughts, etc., etc. The schools and domestic divisions have not been overlooked and a varied and complete list of classes for art cookery and needlework will be found in the oooßict. Live stock entries will close on Saturday, October 15. while those for the general classes will close on October S. The prize schedules will be available for distribution very shortly and may be had post fire on application to the Secretary, P.O. Box S 5, Palmerston North.
