The result was: Joyce Hayward (95) 1 Trevor Hunter (77) 2 Stella Vernon (76) 3 The judge remarked that the winner’s was an excellent performance. It was full fo dainty grace, nice attention to rhythm, and every movement was pretty and effective. The fact thatshe scored 95 out of a. possible 100 spoke for itself. Trevor Hunter failed mainly in her footwork, which the judge said' was “untidy, and toes were not pointed.” The third placed, Stella Vernon, had the back luck to trip as she came on the stage. The judge said “she gave a good performance and showed excellent rhythm.”

A CORRECTION. In the class for piano solo, under 15, a mistake was inadvertently made by the judge. It was found that Joan Sellar, Betty Pakens and Mabel Guy should all have been recalled. They will appear this evening.
