BOAIvES COMMITTED FOR, TRIAL.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 1. Charles William. Boakes, aged 37, a taxi-driver, was to-dav committed for trial on. a. charge of having murdered Eden Gwendoline Isobel Scarff oil or about June .15. . -- ) “I have come to the conclusion,’ ’ said Mr. Mosley, S.M., to-day, “that the evidence raises more thhn a mere suspicion, and accused must be committed for .trial.” The Magistrate thanks both counsel and police for their assistance in a preper presentation of a. difficult case.
