DEFENCE AEROPLANE.

RETURNING SOUTH TO-MORROW. TO LAND AT HAWERA RACECOURSE. Major D. E. Brenmer, of Hawera, received telegraphic advice this morning from Major T. M. Wilkes, director of Air Services, at Auckland, that the Bristol Fighter defence aeroplane that passed through Hawera last week-end, will be returning south to-morrow. The Machine, which will again be piloted by Captain J. L. Fiudlay, will laud at ibr- Hawera Racecourse. Advice of the time at which the machine will arrive is not vet available.
