The United States Consul at Quadab jara, Mexico, advised the State Department to-day that eighteen Americans and eleven British are barricaded in their homes near the Amparo Company’s mines, which are besieged by “Red syndicate.” Their lives are endangered. Following the seizure, all foreigners in the nearby villages, with tlie exception of the besieged, fled to Qnadalajara.—A.P.A. and “Sun.”
