VISIT OF THE ENGLISH TEAM. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., August 26. At the meeting of the Manawatu Crouquefc Association, the chairman mentioned the possibility, of an English croquet team visiting New Zealand during the coming season. The tourists, a mixed team of eight, lias arranged to leave lor Australia in January, and had agreed to extend the tour to the Dominion. The North Island test would he played at the North Island tourney at Wanganui and the test versus New Zealand at the Dominion tourney at Palmerston North. The third test, versus South Island would be played at Christchurch. ■ ■ ■
