OASES AT WANGANUI. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI, Aug. 26. Ruby Stuart, of Ohakune, was admitted a year’s probation at the Supreme Court for fa.Lsely stating that she had posted a letter containing £2 14a to a Palmerston North resident in payment for some fowls. She was ordered to pay costs amounting to £7 3s. Thomas Henry Gardner and Thomas Gardner Jordon, who shot a bullock belonging to Frederick Niched), of Rangataua, and skinned it and divided the meat, were .fined £5 each and ordered to pay costs amounting to £4 12s. They had also paid the owner £l2 for the bullock. They were out shooting wild pigeons at the time and Jordon shot the bullock out of impulse.
