TROUBLE AT A MANCHURIAN COAL MINE. /y O* BLR-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT TOKIO, Aug. 25. A serious Sino-Japanese clash is Reported from the Pinkifu coal mine, Manchuria, where the Chinese miner- 1 , Communist-ically "inspired, presented impossible demands, rioting when they were refused.
They attacked the Japanese management, killing*the chief engineer. The military and police battled for an hour, driving the rioters into the city. Damage amounting to half a million yen was caused. Twenty Japanese were wounded. Four Chinese were killed and 35 are wounded.
