At the Press Conference, Air. 140117., >f the Australian Press Association, Melbourne, moved in favour of the elimination ot Governmental terminal charges on .incoming cable messages, rie pointed out that the charges dated -fom the time when Government. 1 ? handled the messages, but they had been continued, even when no service was Tendered. The motion was carried without dissent, as. was also a further motion mowed by Mr. Holtz, demanding that wireless press rates should be reductVll in accordance to the lower cost of wireless than cable transmission.
