CO-OPERATIVE DAIRYING.

CARDIFF COMPANY. The annual meeting of the Cardiff Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., will he held in the Cardiff Public Hall at 8 p.m. on Monday next. The annual report is as follows: — Production lias increased by 364 tons of cheese and 4J tons of butter. Suppliers have received fifteen pence per 1!) for butter-fat, and, on the basis of the Produce Board’s estimate of 7:}d f.r-.b. for cheese, the working account shows that another Jd per lb of butterfat can lie paid - when the cheese pool accounts are made up. More recent advices make it probable ‘.that the estimate will be exceeded. Cardiff cheese, with an average grade of 93.717, secured second place out of 55 factories graded at Moturoa. Of 7.084 crates, (5,599 were finest, 483 first and

2 second grade. Directors who retire by rotation are Messrs. D. Brunton, <T. B Clemow and D. Shannon. Messrs. Brunton and Shannon are eligible, and offer themselves for recitation.
