ACCEPTANCES CLOSE TO-NIGHT A final reminder is given to horse owners and trainers that acceptances for the Tlaranaki Hunt Club (Steeplechase meeting (to be heid on the Taranaki Jockey Cllub’s course, New Plymouth, on Saturday, August 27) close tonight at 9 p.m. Air. It. Coyle had a- number of first-class horses to weight and appears to liave done Ills work well, so that good field* may he expected on. Saturday week, and steeplechase, hurdle and flat racing should be of an interesting older. Air. C". O’Connor will attend to.- the starting, and Air. J. Clameron will occupy (lie judge’s box. The secretary, Air. E. L. Humphries, ha® a-11l arrangements well in hand, and patrons, both owner* and the general public, are assured that everything will be complete for their convenience.
