A message from Saskatoon, in Saskatchewan, -says that owing to frost damage to the wiieat crops in that belt a week ago it is now generally admitted that it is impossible to give an accurate estimate of the crop until threshing. Prospects arc -still good for a hotter crop than the average throughout Canada, provided the weather is favourable, but there- have been heavy rain-s recently in Manitoba, parts of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Rust infection is now quite general, hut is only serious with late crops. Harvesting is expected to be going on extensively next week, which is about 10 -days later than usual. CHICAGO QUOTATIONS.
