With fifteen speakers on the lists of the ParLiamentary Whips, there is no sign of an early ending of the financial debate. It might be possible to conclude on Wednesday, but there is no certainty. The special committee which has investigated the tariff to advise the Minister of Customs regarding anomalies and other aspects, secured ail extension of time which expired to-day and their report is in’ the GovernmentA hands.
