SUGAR WORKERS’ STRIKE.
MILLS STILL WORKING. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT . Received 11.10 a.m. to-day. BRISBANE, Aug. 13. The strike at South Johnstone sugar mills continues. Some 80 tons of sugar were removed from the mills to Townsville by railwaymen, hut on arrival at the wharf the labourers there refused to handle it, and it will have to be taken to Brisbane by rail.
