Miss Caplen’s and Miss Hawken’s cards reduced their handicaps respectively to 20 and 25. Friday is set aside for the first round of the championships. The firstround .in the .junior division is to he played by the 22nd instant. The fourth round of the rosebowl competition has now been completed, t!u> results being as follows: Miss Richardson heat Miss Caplen, Miss E. Burgess heat Miss O’Rorke, Mrs. Little beat Miss D. ITnwken, Mrs. Thomson beat Miss Robertson. Til the semi-finals Miss Richardson plays Miss Burgess and Airs. Thomson plays Airs. Little.
