The “Daily Mail” correspqndent reports a great storm throughout -Switzerland, accompanied by a terrific cloudburst in the Territet mountain district, which played havoc with buildings and vineyards. The streams became roaring torrents and damaged a railway train leaving Montroux station. The train was embedded in mud. The stream invaded the Hotel RicheLeu at Montroux. where preparations were in progress for a banquet. The waitresses had just escaped when tne water rushed in, covering the piano and furniture with mud and rocks.
