A fine series of offerings will be made at the Taranaki pedigree pig breeders’ annual fair on ednesday next at the Hawera show grounds, when Newton King, Ltd., will sell oedigrees, on behalf of many of the best known and most successful breeders in the province. There will be a hne selection for buyers, and it will be a great chance to secure pedigree pigs of the best strains. On Saturday next Newton King and New Zealand " Loan and Mercantile will hold their soring horse fair at Nelson Street, Hawera, when they will on behalf of the leading breeders, offer 100 draughts and milk cart horses. They will include a _ lot of horses of a fine stamp, and give dairy farmers an opportunity to secure animals of the right type for farm work. One of the biggest series of springing heifer sales to he held in Taranaki this season will he held next week, when Mr. A. Good’s and Mr. J. F. Stevenson’s fairs will take place. On Tuesday. August 2. at Oeo. Mr. Alan Good will sell without reserve 100 choice two-vear in-calf heifers. At Mnnaia, the next day. Wednesday, August. 3, Mr. J. F. Stevenson’s offering. oomnrising 180 high-grade Jersey two and three-vear in-calf heifers, will he sold without reserve.
