HAWERA LADIES’ CLUB. The best card handed in last week for the second round of the three-da.v bogey (Mrs. Little’s trophy) was Miss •Joan Page’s 1 up. Miss (1. Death was all square. On Friday the second round of the two-day eclectic (Mrs. .Hall’s trophy) will he played. The rose howl competition has now reached the fourth round, and the matches to he played are as follow: Miss Richardson plays Miss Caplen; Miss E. Burgess plays Miss O’Rorke; Mrs. Little plays Miss D. Ha when; Mrs. Thomson plays Miss Robertson. The date fixed for completion of this round is August S.
