MEETING OF COMMITTEE

The monthly meeting of the Scout Committee was held last night. Those present were: Mr. I. J. Bridger (chairman), Mrs. Gover, H. J. Gover, M. Burke, Rev. IF. W. Avery, B. Harrison (secretary). The ehairman reported that it is not permissable for anyone under the age of twenty to be appointed Scoutmaster; consequently the appointment made at the last meeting would not be in order. It was decided to appoint. Mr. Eric Lambert acting-Scoutmaster for a term of three months on trial, and TroopLeader J. Gover was appointed as-sistant-Scoutmaster.

Tim arrangements in connection with the challenge football match between the Manaia and Eltham troops, to be played at Eltham. were left in the hands of Mr. Burke to arrange.

It was decided to hold the annual meeting of the local committee on August 2d.
