In the second round, Kincli beat Compston 4 up and 3; Twine beat Duncan 3 up and 2: Ockenden beat Boomer 4 up and 2. Other winners are Havers, Ray Whitcombe, Cotton and Young.

RAWERA LADIES’ CLUB. A combined team from Putea and Waverlcv played a match at Hawera on Thursday ‘against the local club. The weather was fine, and an enjoy•iblc afternoon was spent.
