The Prince of Wales opened an imposing Scottish nation war memorial at Edinburgh Castle. He unlocked the door, alter which officers hearing the colours entered and carrying the rolls of honour containing the names of .100, (XX) fallen Scots. They deposited the rolls in a beautiful cedar lined steel casket, on a granite ba.se sot in living rock protruding through the floor. The casket was a gift of Their Majesties.
