Wells, owner of the Horse- Memsahib against the decision of the judicial committee of the Auckland Racing Dlub in disqualifying Wells lor twelve months, front Julie 4, 1927, under Part XXAU, Rule 1, of the Rules of Racing, the judicial committee being of the opinion that the horse Atom sahib was not run to win the Hunt Dlub cup, the judgment reads: “After having carefully read the evidence and having heard the parties concerned m the case, in the entire absence of any definite evidence of fraudulent- intent on the part of Wells in connection with the running of his horse Alemsahib in the Hunt Dlub Cup on June 4, 1927. we have decided that the appeal be dismissed and that the decision of the Auckland District Committee he confirmed, .signed by Harold A. Russell, O. S. Watkins, J. 11. L. Stanford, judges in appeal. Dealing with W. H. Reid, rider of A rein.sahib in the Hunt Club Dup. the judgment is: “We have considered Reid’s appeal, but no "vidence has been tendered to us to disturb the findings of the judicial committee of the Auckland Racing (Tub and the Auckland District Committee. We therefore dismiss the appeal, lie-id was disqualified for 12 months.
