A Press Association message from Wellington states that the chief trotting stipendiary steward, Mr. T. H. Davey, has resigned, his resignation to take effect in six months. The death is reported from Dunedin of Dr. Boxer, who enlisted in the New Zealand Medical Corps on the outbreak of war. He was Dominion president of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association in 191 S-19. —Press Association.
