WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN BED

Margery Bracken Willson, an artist, aged 28 yeans, of 189 The Terrace, late of New Plymouth, who was stated to be iiu good health and cheerful when she retired ia.t nine o’clock last night, was discovered dead .in bed this morning with a gais tube in her mouth and the gas turned on. An inquest will be held. MAN FOUND DEAD. DUNEDIN, July 13. John Bruce, labourer, an early resident of Alexandra, was found dead about noon to-day in the rear room ot the Chattorek Hotel with a .22 calibre rifle beside 'his body. The licensee of the hotel heard a report and immediately investigated. The deceased was 55 years of age, 'and had a. wife and grown up family. The rifle was stored tin the room by a hotel boarderGIRL INJURED IN COLLISION.

Slight concussion of the brain and injuries to the arms and chest were received by Irena Dellow, a girl agea 12, who cycled down a. hill into an approaching motor-car on the Main South Road near St. Andrews. 'the girl was removed to hospital, but the mll extent of the injuries to her arms and chest is not vet- known.
