WEDDING.

BAGGETT—GEEENHILL. A wedding of consideable interest took place on June 22 at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Hawera, when Miss Elizabeth Greenhill, second dauglitei of Mr and Mrs John Greenhill, of South Bead, Hawera. was married to Mr. Franlc Sydney Baggett, only son of the late Mr. Prank Baggett and Mrs. Dickens, of South-End-on-Sea, England. The ceremony was performed by the Bev. B. E. Evans, of Hawera. The bride, who was given away by tier father, looked dainty in a frock of ivory crepe de chine, with yoke and skirt of silver lace. Her tulle veil, which was richly embroidered and scalloped, was held in place by a bandeau of white satin and orange blossoms, and a rosette of tiny lace and satin streamers at each side. Her toilette was completed by a beautiful bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums, maidenhair fern and satin streamers. Miss Eleanor Greenhill, sister of the bride, who attended as bridesmaid, was daintly attired in shell pink satin, with over-dress of silver lace, with sash of silver caught at the side with an osprey and mother of pearl ornament. [Her pale pink tulle veil was caught into a band of silver leaves and streamers. She also carried a beautiful bouquet of autumn tints with pink and silver streamers. Miss Bessie Christie, cousin of the bride, who acted as flower-girl, was daintily dressed in a frock of crepe de chine with silver trimmings and wore a head dress of blue tulle with silver leaves and streamers. She carried a beautiful basket of pink roses. Mr. Bruce Barclay carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the Carlton by the bride’s parents; the usual toasts being honoured. The bride travelled in a Scotch tweed costume of blue and brown mixture with blue ribbon hat to match, and a Mongolian Fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom. The h appy couple left amid showers of confetti for Wanganui, where the honeymoon will be spent.
