EDUCATION CONGRESS.
VALUE OF PRACTICAL- WORK. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 12.25 p.m. to-day. LONDON, July 10. Lord Eustace Percy (Minister of Education), in the closing speech at the Education Congress, paid a tribute to the practical work done, and said that Britain should try to work along the lines of the recommendations made by the congress. On the motion of Air. Tate (Australia) the conference sent a message of loyalty to His Majesty, expressing the conviction that education was one of the greatest factors providing for mutual knowledge and fostering Empire friendships. The next conference will be held in 1931.
