The Addington market to-day drew slightly smaller entries in most classes of stock, and generally there was a tirming sale, the recent decline being recovered. Fat Lambs —Extra prime lambs (small) do- to -Ids, prime lambs 29s (id to d2s, medium lambs 2tis to 295, light lambs 2ds Id to 255. .store lambs 22s to 2d.-.

Fat Sheep—All round values were better by Is to Is 6d a head than la_st week. Extra prime wethers 38s to 455, prime wethers 33s 6d to 37s 6d, medium wethers 29s to 32s (id, light wethers 25s 6d to 28s (id, extra prime ewes to 37s lOd, prime ewes 2Ss to 32s fid, medium ewes 23s fid to 275, light ewes 11s to 17s.

BURNSIDE SALE. DUNEDIN, July fi. Pigs went up and sheep and lambs unchanged at the Bumside stock sales to-day. AT WESTFIELD. AUCKLAND. July G. At Westfield to-day there was a fair yarding of stock, which said readily under keen competition at increased prices. Sheep were penned in loss than the usual numbers. Competition was keen and prices were better. WANGANUI PRICES. At Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson’s Wanganui sale on Wednesday, there was keen competition for pigs, and sheep were also in good demand. Cattle. with the exception of yearling dairy heifers, were dull of sale. Quotations: _ IW; Sheep.—Ewe hoggets (small) 15s. ewe hoggets (medium) 18s, mixed sex hoggets 14s 7d to 18s 7d. wether hoggebT 18s 8d to. 18s lOd. empty 2-tootlv ewes (small) 22s 6d, fattening ewes IDs 6(1. fat and forward ewes 15s 7d to 16s Id.

Cattle. —Light bullocks (fat) £7 7s fid. fat cows (passed) £5 10s to £6, cows (store) £2 10s to £3 os, Jersey cross heifers (yearling) £2 5s to £3 2s (kl. Holstein and Jersey cross heifers £1 10s to £1 14s. Jersey hulls (yearling! £2 10s to £4, springing heifers (backward) £3 17s.
