Quotations nominal. MARKET REPORT. The Farmers’ Co-op. report as under: On the 23rd ult we held a. very successful clearing sale on account of Mr. \y Whelan, Rird Road, Stmt lord, when in spite of the ' ery inc.ement weather, there was a very large at--tendance of buyers and a highly satisfactory sale resulted. The cows weie in splendid condition and, although milked on fairly hilly country, showed c-reat returns, and bidding throughout was very brisk. Prices ranged from £9 10s to £2O, and the whole held of 60 cows attained the splendid a.erage of £ll per head. Implements and sundries sold at late rates. Ori June 24 we conducted a very successful sale on account of Mr. H. J. Jacobsen, Riverlea, when we offered by auction a good mixed coloured herd o; 77 dairy cows. There was a large attendance of buyers and bidding eyas keen throughout. Anything showing quality was in great demand, and sold remarkably well. Prices realised up to £l*3 10s; in-calf heifers £6 10s to £9; aged horses £22 to £25. Implements and sundries also sold well. On Thursday, 30th inst., we held a clearing sale on account of. Mr. C. IV. Look, Lowgarth, whose herd of 43 y rung dairy cows were in splendid condition. Owing to the fact that this herd is well known in the district they drew a large attendance of buyers and competition was keen throughout and a highly successful sale resulted. Prices ranged from £7 10s to £l4, and the whole herd realised the fine average of £R>. Implements and sundries so.d at lata rates. At Inglewood on Wednesday, 29th ult., we held our usual fortnightly stock sale in conjunction with our first annual pig fair. We submitted to auction about 60- pigs r and also a large entry of cattle and sheep came forward to a representative attendance of buyers, and we report practically 0 total clearance at prices satisfactory to the vendors. We quote: Sows to farrow £4 10s to £6 10s, store pigs 18s to 30s; wool.y hoggets 15s lid to 17s 9d, aged in-lamb ewes 17s 9d; store cows £2 5s to £3 2s, two-year empty heifers £3 10s to £4 10s, yearling heifers (small) £1 11s to £2; dairy cow-s £7 10s to £lO 10s, incalf heifers £7 to £8 15s.
