The Australian Rugby League Board of Control decided against the New Zealand League's request to send a team to New Zealand this season, but in the event of any State or club wishing to send a team' no objection would be offered. The league expressed the keenest .disappointment and disapproval at the action of the senior league in lifting the residential ban without first consulting the Australian and New Zealand Leagues. Information was received that the English team would arrive in Australia at the end of May of next year. The board decided to ask the English League to institute a regular interchange of visits between the two countries.
