The New Zealand Rugby League resolved to-night to endorse the protest of the Australian Board of Control against the removal of the two years’ residential qualification by the English League. It further resolved to enter into negotiations with Australia as to the advisability of cancelling the English tour of 1925, and to withdraw the invitation extended to the English team to visit ‘New Zealand. A further resolution that a representative be at once appointed to the Australian Board of Control in Sydney was defeated.
