Generally speaking, there is a much improved tone in the property market, and during the past few weeks this has been evidenced by the enquiry for dairy farms, especially leaseholds. I/eases of good land are practically unprocurable, while the demand for houses to rent exceeds the supply. At the moment houses for renting are more difficult to obtain than lias been the ca.se for some considerable time.
