Jones, whose lease has expired, to sell by public auction as above, the whole cf his live and dead stock as follows: WITHOUT DESERVE. GOOD PRODUCING COWS, the bulk of which are Jerseys and Jersey Cross. All are in splendid condition and due to calve in July and August to pedigree Jersey bulls (see further remarks below). 5 choice Jersey heifers (in calf) WITH SLIGHT RESERVE. 1 pedigree Jersey cow, “Triwithen’s Sylvia.” ' 1 2-year pedigree Jersey heifer, ‘ ‘ Fail-lands Bonnie.’’ ’ 1 yearling pedigree Jersey heifer .1 pedigree Jersey bull, “Jersey Bank Vic.” WITIIOUT RESERVE. 2 bay geldings (ail work) 2 -3-draught mares (5 years, all work) 2 2-year unbroken horses 10 sows in farrow (due July and August) 10 lambs
Cambridge roller, A finance mower, disc, chain and tine harrows, 2 sledges, I.H.C. double furrow plough, S.F. plough, saw bench, 2 spring drays and harness, dog cart and harness, hay sweep, grindstone, collars and harness, s wingletrees, GOO-gallon tank (new), skim milk var, 10 milk cans, 30cwt waggon (ner.rly new, slight reserve), 20 white leghorn hens, 5 turkeys, and usual farm sundries. NOTE. —-To farmers wanting firstclass cows, horses, pigs and implements, this sale can be recommended by us with the greatest confidence. It will be seen the heed is a large one, and to return last season an average of 2Sdlb fat per cow factory figures, is in itself striking evidence of its producing finalities. Half of the herd during that period comprised heifers and second cal vers. Individually the cows arc a splendid lot, 15 being Jerseys and Jersey Cross, all young and in great condition. Another feature is that fit are due to calve in July and August. Special mention must alsd'- be made of the horses, for they are real workers. Cars will leave all our offices -on morning of sale.
