Mr. G. Scott wj,. be leaving shortly as will Mr. and Mrs. S. French. The latter have been a number of years in the locality and have proved themselves to be very helpful to those in distress. The best wishes of Auroa will follow them in their new venture at Manaia.
SOCCER CLUB
The invincible Auroa soccer team met its Waterloo when the Caledonians, of New Plymouth, beat them by two goals to one after a keenly contested match for the .Julian Cup. Owing to some of their better players being unable to play, the team was very much disorganised, playing some of the men out of their places to make room for the new additions. However, the better team on the day won.

If there is no improvement during the next few days the authorities will be forced to close the school until the epidemic is past. One of toe the assistant teachers, Miss 1.. B.
