The. chief motion carried was:—

‘■Wo, unemployed workers of Vvm jingtoii, realising that as. long, as we remain unorganised we are a menace to organised labour, call on workers in Weiluv.t'on to support us in our demand for trade union rates on maintenance work. We realise further that with the support of organised labour in Wel'inat-om our fight against ‘scab’ wages can be more effectively waged. P.nd we call up on trade unions to give our organisation recognition and support . ’ ’
