BUSINESS NOTICES.

Attention is directed in regard to the clearing sale of Air. M. Joyce’s dairy herd on Tuesday next, at Sutherland Road, Manaia, to the fact that the number of grade Jersey cows to be offered is 29, not 92, as appearing in advertisement in yesterday’s issue, the error being due to a transposition of figures in the mechanical process. J. C. Smith will hold his mart sale of poultry, hardware, fruit, furniture, and sundries at the usual time to-mor-row (Saturday). On page 1 of this issue Grant and Co. advertise particulars of farms for sale on easy terms. As the demand for small a'reas is keen, buyers are advised to peruse the details of the propositions offered.

At Suffolk Road, Inglewood, on the 27th inst., Newton King Ltd. is holding a complete dispersal sale on behalf of Mr. Harry Jones, junr. The herd comprises 70 cows, the whole of which are, Jersey and Jersey cross and are in splendid condition, and the majority are due to calve in July and August. This herd has the splendid average of 2851 b fat per cow, factory 'returns. For a. herd so large as tins, this is an excellent performance, and one that clearly demonstrates the production qualities of Air. Jones’ cattle In addition to the grade stock there are good horses, also 10 sows in farrow and a full range of farm implements, to he sold. A full advertisement of the sale is in the auction columns of this paper. R. P. Alorrinsoy and Co. will-sell by public auction to-morrow (Saturday) poultry, fruit furniture, etc., also milk waggon and farmers’ sundries. One of the most attractive propositions that will come lief ore the buyers of dairy cattle this season is the absolutelv unreserved dispersal sale of Air C. Cl Sandford’s (Kaupokonui) very choice dairy herd. The cows are all young and early calvers, and are in splendid condition. This sale offers a wonderful chance to those wishing to replenish their' herds this season, state the auctioneers, the Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society.
