DARING THEFT.
JEWELLER’S SHOP ROBBED. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 10.35 a.in. to-day. BRISBANE, June. 24. A most dar in gi ngly-p'auned and executed robbery took place at Hanson’s London watch shop, in the centre of the city, which at the time was bnlliantlv lighted. The- jewellery taken was valued at £3OOO. The manageress left the .shop securely locked at 5.30 in the evening, took the keys home and placed them on a table. Half an hour later .she discovered that they had mysterious'v disappeared and she telephoned 'to the police, who rushed to c ihop. only to find that the thieves had pi-ecedcd them and had got away with a selection of the most valuable jewellery.
