HAM'EH A LADIES’ CHUB. The results of last week’s competition (first day three, day bogey) are as follow:—Miss Joan Page 1 up ; -Miss G. Death and Miss L'\ Blake, L down; Mrs Dalgettv 2 down ; Miss E. Burgess, .vliss Joll and Miss D. Meyrick 3 down. Next Friday the first round of a, twoclay eclectic competition will be played for a trophv presented by Airs Hall. Players will chose their own partners. It is probable that a match which is being arranged with New Plymouth will be lixeu for the following Friday, on the Haweia links. The following extra score cards have been received: Miss F. Burgess 96 — 14—82: 'Miscs I>. Haw ken. 113 —31—82. .Miss Burgess reduces her handicap to 13, and Miss Haw ken reduces hers to--30 .Mis,-: Robertson is to he congratulated on her success in the Coronation .Medal round, her net score living only two strokes above the best card returned. The Yankee competition is to no played this season without the special handicaps arranged last year. Fir 1 ,! particulars and a. list of players will lie found on the notice board. Several non-handicap players who have returned scores in the vicinity oi 11!) (the limit for L.G.U. handicap) have lieen included in the Bronze Division Yankee competition and in the club eomnetitions. Any others who wish to plav in these competitions may do so if they return to the captain cards sufficiently good to warrant their inclusion.
