Messrs Taylor and Beatson’s lease has expired and they have purchased a farm at Dargaville, North Auckland. The transport charges and time taken making this sale necessary. Our agent has inspected the whole of the offering. The cows are a splendid line, a large number being fawn Jerseys, the balance showing a lot of Jersey; 12 are 2nd calvers, about the same 3rd calvers, and the balance 4th and sth. Due July, August and early Sept, to pedigree Jersey bulls. The vendors have been on the farm for 6 years and have culled heavily and filled up with their own heifers by pedigree Jersey bulls. The whole line is in tip-top condition and will winter well anywhere. The factory returns, which show considerably over 15,0001b5, point to the herd being good. Factory returns and calving dates will be available at the sale. Stock may remain on the farm until the end of June. The horses are a good lot for all round farm work and are reliable.
