Dennis Rook, while landing in semidarkness, damaged the tail skid of his ’plane, which will necessitate a week’s delay. Received 10.10 a.m. to-dav. LONDON, June 21. Owing to the damage to his machine and also because of the monsoon, Rook has abandoned liis flight.
