NOVELIST SEEKS ARREST. p LOS ANGELES, June 4. The American novelist, Upton Sinclair, by way of contesting the censorship ol his latest novel “Oil,” has left for Boston to invite arrest by reading the “Song of Solomon” from the Ribbon .Boston Common. _ “I was arrested puce,” lie said, “for reading the American Constitution in San Pedro.”
