PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr. and Mils. J. E. Widner, of Inglewood, are at present staying at Hie White Hart Hotel.
Mr. James Murphy, of Kaponga, is at present an inmate of the Hawera hospital. Sister Anderson, recently of Waitara, is acting as sister in charge of the Opunake hospital pending Sister Jones’ arrival. Bister Beswick left Opunake on Monday. —Times. Guests at Hie Cbanimeroiail Hotel include Messrs B. G. Allen, of Wellington, and E. Clino, of the Government Agricultural Department.
Mr. C. E. Bellringer. M.P., for New Plymouth., was a passenger by this morning’s express to Wellington. Mr IV. E. Williams, who lias been acting manager of Hie Stratfolrd branch and .sub-branches. of the Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation Society, has been appointed manager. Mr Williams was formerly on the staff of the head office at Hawera.
