MOTOR ADVERTISEMENTS. s. o. s REAL PIONEERS OF MOTOR TRANSPORT PASSENGER SERVICES Established WANGANUI - HAWEBA Service on February 20, 1922, with one car. S.O.S. MOTORS have now 25 modem high-powered cars operating between Hawera, Wanganui, Marton, Palmerston, Fcilding, Ashhurst, Foxton, Levin and Wellington. S.O.S. MOTORS employ 15 regular drivers all on our own PIONEER SERVICE ROUTES, and our own services cover collectively 2000 miles per day. We had sufficient enterprise in our organisation to break fresh ground, and EVERY SERVICE where S.O.S. Cars run has been PIONEERED, advertised, organised and. consistently backed up by a reliable service under all conditions HAIL, RAIN or SHINE. (See list of Booking Offices at foot of Time-table) The only service where S.O.S. Cars run that has not been pioneered by us is from Wanganui to Mangamahu, a total distance of 60 miles daily. On this route we commenced a service at the request of numerous settlers who desired to link up with our services to other districts. We have therefore every confidence in once again asking the residents of Taranaki to PATRONISE THE PIONEERS ! Stick to 5.0.5., who turned thefi rst sod, as it were, and did (the pick and shovel work in establishing, and then increasing, the regular services now running and linking up to form a regular through service from WELLINGTON to NEW PLYMOUTH. • LATEST TIME-TABLE DOWN.
