While returning home in a motor, Leo MeSweeney and John Roy Mills were involved in a serious accident, the car ran off the road at a. bend, turning a. somersault and pinning both occupants to the ground. t MeSweeney extricated himself, but, being unable to free Mills, went for assistance five ipiles away, and, on his return, found Mills dead, being suffocated with the weight of the car on his back. , Mills was 27 years old, and had been married only a few weeks. The inquest was adjourned on the application of the police, .in order to gain further evidence.
