RIGHTS OF SETTLEMENT WANTED
JAPANESE DEMANDS
BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.’ TGKIO, June 13. Advices from Dairen, Manchuria, state that a confernece of the delegates of the Japanese communities throughout Manchuria decided to ask the Japanese Government to take action to prevent the civil war extending .north of the Great AViall of China. The confernece also demanded that Tokio should secure for the Japanese et|ual rights with the Chinese to settle anywhere in Manchuria, or Mongolia, and to engage in railroading, agriculture, mining and lumbering. It was further resolved to urge the creation of a Ministry of the Colonies to carry out the above and other positive policies in China.
