Barnes, of the Civil Service harriers, won the fifteenth race for the Edmond cup in 17inin lOsee. The teams ’ race was won by Caversham No. 1, and the sealed handicap for the Mollor cup by the Civil Service* Barnes has conic to the fore as a runner onlv during the last year, and ran third to Tt. A. Hose and Priestly in the Wellington mile championship.
