COMMISSION OF INQUIRY SFT

The. following have been appointed a commission to inquire and report on the Dobson eo 1 fiery disaster of December 31 : Mr Page, S.M., Mr John Watson (superintendent of the Taupiri mine), Mr William Balderstone (secrotorv of the West Coast Mine Council).
It is hoped the commission will commence the sittings next. week. The report is ireturnable on June 20. The order of reference is of wide, scope, and includes suggestions, for the. prevention, as far as possible, of similar accidents and the safe working of this and other mines.
