RIOT IN HYDE PARK.
SOCIALISTS AND ANTI-SOCIALISTS

LONDON, May 29. Mounted police were called upon to disperse a riotous crowd three thousand strong at Hyde Park. The disturbances began when aiu anti-Socialist speaker concluded a speech. The crowd then concentrated on the Socialist’s platform, the result being a .series of fights. The park, police were unable to restore order, hut when; the mounted mem arrived they formed a line between the Socialists and anti-Socialists and quelled the disorder.
