WARSAW, May 29. . During army manoeuvres a machinegun company was billeted at a farmhouse near Poznan. A fire broke out, and as a result eight are dead, , fourteen dying, and fifty seriously injured.
LONDON, May 30. The Nice correspondent of the Daily News reports aim epidemic of suicides at R.i viera. mostly ascribed to gambling losses, which has perturbed the authorities. Five suicides have been reported in two days, including two women .
