SOUTH TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.

FANCY WORK DIVISION

This is a section of the South Taranaki Winter" Show, in which there is always a great deal of interest shown by all sections of the community. This year thirty-seven classes have been provided for, and ispeoial prizes are included. There will be a seven days’ exhibition, as in 1926, and the work in this division of the show will be e xhibited'on the last three days, f rom Monday, July 4, to Wednesday, July 6 inclusive. In this division classes are provided for crochet, knitting, .■denoil and rafia. work, home-made toys, artificial flowers, point lace., plain sewing, embroidery, etc., and much scope is offered for the many branches of fine needlework. All details are. given on pages 14 and 15 of the schedule. There is ialiso a children’s section, for which Air. Ei. Dixon offers a points prize of 10s. 6d. Every encouragement should be given to the young people j.n this class. of work, and the section includes, five, classes wide'll have been specially ©e-fc &©ide» for . Entries for this division dose on June 11, and anyone desiring a schedule can obtain same on application to the manager, Box 79, Hawera.
