RUSHED TO A BABGAIN SALE. He was a little mild man, and too"k life quietly, and lie was considerably disconcerted when his wife fell sick and insisted that he buy her something at the bargain sale. He did his best. But what was he, a mere man in a crowd of fighting and jostling women storming the counters! He was cast to the outside of the scrum, where ho stood timorously thinking of the “scene” when he got home. To comfort ;him he relied upon Bears' Tobacco to calm liis nerves— Bears' is an inexpensive smoke, too, sold loose at only 8d an ounce.—Advt.
